Boba Tea Coming to Infirmary Cafeteria
This summer, a sweet treat is coming to the Infirmary cafeteria. Every Monday during the summer, the Action Station will sell boba tea from 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. You can check out the menu below.
For those of you who have somehow avoided this hot trend over the past few years, boba tea (or “bubble tea”) is an iced drink featuring brewed tea, chewy tapioca balls, milk, and one of a number of flavorings. While tea and milk have been mixed together for centuries, boba tea was invented in Taiwan in the 1980s. It quickly spread in popularity throughout southeast Asia and has now caught on in the U.S.
Make sure to give it a shot! The first day for boba tea in the cafeteria is this Monday, May 12!
