Chaplain William Carpenter Named Service Hero at the Infirmary

Chaplain William Carpenter was recognized as a Service Hero at the Infirmary for displaying the value of COMPASSION.

Chaplain William was nominated by a coworker, after he stopped her in the hallway to ask if she was felling well.

The chaplain took the coworker to get her blood pressure taken. When he saw her blood pressure was 213/108, the chaplain wheeled her to the Emergency Room, helped her check in and stayed with until her family arrived.

“I want to thank him for his caring and compassion. He went beyond the call of duty.”
