Jessica Bray, a nurse on 2 East at Hot Springs, received the Daisy Award. Jessica was nominated by a patient’s family who wrote,
“We would like to commend this nurse for doing an excellent job with patient care and making our family feel comfortable and cared about. She was always present and showed genuine concern for the needs of her patient and our guests. Your facility is fortunate to have someone like her working for you. She is a joy. She apparently has a give, a passion for nursing and is a great example for other nurses.”
Congratulations Jessica! #CHILivingOurMission
The DAISY Award was established by the DAISY Foundation in memory of J. Patrick Barnes who died at 33 of ITP, an auto-immune disease. The Barnes Family was awestruck by the clinical skills, caring and compassion of the nurses who cared for Patrick, so they created this national award to say thank you to nurses everywhere.
