Kim Jones Recognized as Morrilton Service Hero

Kim Jones, a receptionist at the Morrilton Primary Care Clinic, was recognized as a Service Hero for displaying the value of COMPASSION.

Kim was nominated by a coworker for the kindness she showed to a recent patient who was dropped off at the clinic by a Medicaid van several hours before her scheduled appointment.

The clinic typically closes at lunch, and it was raining outside. Kim welcomed the patient inside and stayed with her in the waiting area, missing her own lunch that day.

She also called the Medicaid transportation office and voiced concerned over the patient being repeatedly dropped off too early for her appointments.

“Kim showed compassion and went out her way to advocate for the patient.”
