Leonard Keenom Named Hot Springs Service Hero

Congratulations Leonard Keenom, Nutrition Services, for being chosen as a Service Hero!

Leonard was nominated by several coworkers in Hot Springs.

One coworker said Leonard is one of the best people they know and has been a great friend through the years!

“He really is a valuable asset to this hospital; he always has Jesus in his voice when talking to others.”

Leonard is described as having the cleanest and most orderly storerooms (often referred to as ‘Military Standard’!) in probably all of CommonSpirit!

Not only does he treat his coworkers of all areas with professionalism and respect, but he works diligently to see that all patients and customers are provided for, and he quietly goes above and beyond to meet any special needs of coworkers without any desire for recognition.

“His example of dedication and loyalty is worthy to share as inspiration for all of his coworkers.”

One coworker shared some numbers to give a scope of the amount of work he has performed for this facility during his many years of service.

  • Ordered and received 2.5 million cases of groceries!
  • Put away 22,464,000 lbs of food which is 11,232 TONS!

However, his coworkers argue that the most important thing he’s done is minister to anyone needing help and goes out of his way to give or listen.

“He is one of the finest people I have had the privilege of knowing. He truly is a Christian and there is not a better example of our ministry in action than Leonard Keenom.”
