Welcome Nisa Trenthem as the New RN Resident Program Manager

The Clinical Education Department welcomes Nisa Trenthem, MNSc NE-BC RN, as the new manager for our RN Resident Program (RNRP).

Nisa started her nursing career in 2001 as a staff nurse in the emergency department at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. She moved to Arkansas in 2005 and has worked in several hospitals in the region including University of Arkansas for Medical Science, Baptist Health and White River Medical Center. Nisa served as an assistant director of nursing at UAMS from 2008-2015 and then joined Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway in 2015 to be part of the start-up leadership team to operationalize the new hospital. In her role their as the supervisor for ICU, Cardiac Cath Lab, and Interventional Radiology Services, she helped develop infrastructure for successful operations.

Additionally, Nisa has served as adjunct faculty at Baptist Health College in Little Rock and has a passion for education, recruiting, and working with new graduate nurses.
