Teresa Lambert, vice-president of patient care services, was recognized with a DAISY Award for the service she has given to our ministry for the past 35 years.
Teresa, who recently celebrated her milestone anniversary, spent many years as a bedside nurse before becoming a nursing leader.
Teresa is committed to quality, safety and delivering the best patient experience. She was instrumental in Hot Springs’ achieving Magnet status and being named one of the Top 100 hospitals in the nation.
“She models our core values of integrity, inclusion, compassion, collaboration and excellence in everything she does. Most importantly, she deeply connects to our mission and heritage and is a witness of God’s healing love and grace in all that she does. We are blessed to have her on our team.”
The DAISY Award was established by the DAISY Foundation in memory of J. Patrick Barnes who died at 33 of ITP, an auto-immune disease. The Barnes Family was awestruck by the clinical skills, caring and compassion of the nurses who cared for Patrick, so they created the national award to thank nurses everywhere.
