Building Humankindness in our Community with School Supply Drive
The Lloyd H. Dean Institute for Humankindness & Health Justice is excited to partner with the CHI St. Vincent Community Clinic – East to provide backpacks and school supplies to children getting school physicals at a community event we’re hosting on August 19 from 9am – 1pm.
Take advantage of “tax free weekend” August 4-6th to pick up an extra supply or two from the list below:
- binder
- box of pencils
- pack of paper
- box of colored pencils
Special Gift: DC Comic Book about spreading Humankindness will be supplied by the LHDI in every backpack!
Drop it off at the entrance of each hospital in the designated boxes by Aug 14th and our amazing volunteers will pack the backpacks to hand out! We’re trying to secure 1,888 items to celebrate our ministry’s founding in 1888 by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth and the Sisters of Mercy.
Already purchased all your supplies or do you prefer to order from the comfort of your home? You can donate supplies by visiting our Amazon wishlist and place an order by August 7, supplies will be delivered directly to our East Clinic.
