Connie Treat Named Service Hero at Infirmary

Connie Treat was named a Service Hero at the Infirmary for displaying the value of COMPASSION.

Connie did not think twice about watching another nurse’s patients so the nurse could go check on her mother-in-law, who had been transferred from the floor to the NSICU. When the nurse realized how sick her mother-in-law was, Connie took over care of her ICU patients until the end of the shift. Because of Connie, the nurse was able to speak to her mother-in-law one last time before she coded and was intubated, and her mother-in-law was bale to tell her she loved her.
