DAISY Award Honors Hot Springs Charge Nurse

Congratulations to Atasha Jackson, RN, of Hot Springs on being our latest DAISY Award winner! Atasha was nominated for her consistent willingness to go above and beyond for patients, families and coworkers. Here’s a portion of her nomination:

” What I love about her is that I don’t have to ask her for any help. She is constantly helping her staff with any nursing or PCT tasks. She will draw labs, get patients out of bed, medicate your patients, give blood transfusions, take patients to restrooms or any test off the floor, hook up pain pumps, do admissions and discharges without any hesitation. She leads by example and in my opinion is the best charge nurse I have ever worked with in my nursing career. Her positive attitude and friendly personality makes the work day even better. I have been blessed to work with her as my charge nurse a lot here lately and she makes the day brighter and less stressful.”
