Dr. Lance Burns Named Service Hero at Infirmary

Dr. Lance Burns, a colorectal surgeon at the Infirmary, was named a Service Hero for displaying the value of COMPASSION.

Dr. Burns was nominated for the care he recently showed a patient, who was transferred to the Infirmary from the ER in Stuttgart due to complications from a previous surgery.

The patient’s daughter applauded the time and attention Dr. Burns gave her mother, whose health has vastly improved after a two-month illness.

“Dr. Burns took time to sit down with us and explained everything to where we could understand. I couldn’t ask for a more experienced, devoted and outstanding colon doctor. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are a doctor who we will never forget and highly recommend!”
