Hospitalists Have New Office Space at Infirmary

The Hospitalist Group at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary has a new office space.  They held an open house and brief prayer service, Tuesday, February 9.  The suite, located on the ground floor, was most recently the Business Office, which has moved to the third floor space once used by the Visiting Nurse Association.  The Cashier will remain in the business office, just outside the hospitalists’ offices.  There is  a teleconference office that allows hospitalists to talk with patients, nurses and other physicians at other CHI St. Vincent facilities.

The renovated space has 24 cubicles to be used as individual physician work spaces.  There are currently 12 hospitalists.  The extra cubicles were built in anticipation of hiring more physicians.
