She has been certified as CCRN and CEN for 30 years with varied experience in flight nursing, emergency nursing, leadership and advanced practice.

In recognizing Michelle’s achievement, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses stated, “Achieving and maintaining the CCRN credential over decades takes passion, perseverance and advanced clinical knowledge and demonstrates a lifelong commitment to patients, families, colleagues and employers. …The importance of clinical certification to the health and well-being of patients in the U.S. has been well documented. These studies also found that CCRN-certified nurses are motivated to foster clinical excellence despite rapidly changing acute and critical care environments.”
