Morrilton Celebrates Passing of Bond Issue with Service Hero Award for Community Member
CHI St. Vincent Morrilton recently celebrated the recent passage of a bond issue, which will help make much needed building improvements possible. The measure, which was approved on the November ballot, approved the use of an existing sales tax to finance the repairs, which will include a new roof, new electrical and new heating and air.
Brandon Baker, the chairman of the Conway County Board, was awarded a Service Hero award for his work on getting the bond issue passed. CHI St. Vincent Morrilton is also grateful to the Morrilton community, as well as Quorum Court Judge Jimmy Hart, hospital board members, the steering committee, the Auxiliary and coworkers for their support.
“We’ve been around for 100 years now, providing quality care to this community, and it’ll keep us around for another hundred years,” said Angie Longing, CHI St. Vincent Hospital President.
