Patient Nomination Earns Infirmary Nurse Service Hero Award

We love when our patients are the ones who nominate our coworkers for a Service Hero award. That’s what happened for Jewel Antonio, RN, who works on 4NE. Here’s what a patient had to say about Jewel:

Jewel was one of my nurses in a three-night stay for an abdominal surgery last May (I’m a little late on submitting). She was with me my first night, and I just can’t say enough about her care. I’m a very independent person but extremely thankful for her help when I needed it and her knowledge/professionalism while I was under her care. She was absolutely wonderful! I hope she’s still able to be nominated. She truly is a jewel and deserving of the DAISY Award. Even after 10 months, she stands out to me and is a perfect example of just being an amazing human and an extraordinary nurse.
