Taking Care of Family Leads to Service Hero Honor for Infirmary RN
We are proud to announce that Joanna Limen, RN at the Infirmary, has received the CHI St. Vincent Service Hero Award. Joanna’s remarkable compassion, dedication and amazing attitude have truly made a difference. Here’s her nomination:
“My uncle is 88 years old. His prognosis was initially moderate, but things have recently taken a turn for the worse and the outlook is now grim. He comes from a large family – 14 brothers and sisters and thousands of nieces and nephews. Through all of this, Joanna has been remarkable. She has taken the time to make every family member feel welcomed and comforted. Her attention to detail and willingness to answer every question have brought us so much peace. She truly stands out – a compassionate and dedicated caregiver with an amazing attitude. She went above and beyond to make us comfortable, and to take care of our needs as well as our patient. Very friendly, compassionate, and patient with us.”
Congratulations, Joanna! Your compassionate and dedicated care, along with your patient and friendly demeanor, clearly demonstrate the spirit of a true Service Hero. Remember, anyone can nominate a coworker for a CHI St. Vincent Service Hero Award. If you know someone deserving, please share their story using the nomination form here.
