Violence Prevention Makes a Difference in 45 Communities

Violence is one of our nation’s most devastating public health issues. Millions of people are affected by all types of violence—child abuse, youth violence, domestic violence, human trafficking. One reason we remain committed to violence prevention is because the health ramifications of violence have long-term consequences.

We are addressing violence prevention nationally and locally in 45 CHI communities, supported by the CHI Mission and Ministry Fund.

Our violence prevention programs have successfully reduced the rates of violence and have far exceeded expectations. They are changing the face and character of our communities.
