97-Year-Old Time Capsule Discovered in Hot Springs to be Opened December 4
It may look like an ordinary old metal box, but it actually contains 97 years worth of history! Workers preparing to demolish the former St. Joseph Hospital location in Hot Springs recently discovered a 97-year-old time capsule that had been placed in the cornerstone of the building on December 6, 1927. The time capsule had been placed the same year that St. Joseph’s opened Arkansas’ first million-dollar hospital at the Central Avenue location.
You are invited to join St. Vincent leadership, board members and former and current employees as they open the time capsule on December 4 at 4:30 p.m. in the Mercy McAuley Room at CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs.
Stay tuned to find out what surprises are inside!
