Changes Made to Dress Code and Cell Phone Policies
As of September 1, 2023, the Professional Image Dress Policy and Cell Phone Policy have been updated.
“The dress code matters. The dress code protects coworkers and patients from infection and maintaining a professional appearance can help establish trust with patients. It is perfectly aligned with our core value of Excellence,” said Sunetta M. Alexander, Market Director, HR Operations, “We are all responsible for adhering to our dress code and holding others accountable and this is perfectly aligned with our core value of Integrity. Going forward, strict adherence will be expected.”
Biggest updates coworkers should know about:
- RN’s new scrub color – navy blue
- Respiratory – grey
- T-shirts only allowed on designated days
- Cell phone and earbuds will not be permitted in patient care areas
Please note, there is a 6 month transition for scrub color. As of February 2024, RNs and Respiratory will be required to have the noted scrub color.
