CHI St. Vincent Helps Tackle Food Insecurity

CHI St. Vincent’s Mission/Outreach team recently partnered with the Hunger Relief Alliance to help feed hungry families!

Through this partnership, more than 30 of the hardest hit families were given nutritional assistance while they wait for their SNAP benefits to kick in.

Our assistance comes at a time when AR ranks first in the country for food insecurity, according to the USDA. This means families don’t know where their next meal is coming from, they’re stretching meals, or simply going without.

“Joining key organizations in their fight against hunger is part of our community commitment with an understanding that nutrition is essential to healing,” said Mandy Davis, Community Outreach Director.
