Kyle Nelson Wins Honey Bee Award

Congratulations Kyle Nelson, PCT, for being recognized as a Honey Bee award winner!

Kyle works in 1NW Addiction at the Infirmary and was nominated by a patient on his unit

The patient said their great aunt passed during their detox period so they were unable to attend the funeral.

The patient was unable to walk to the phone at that point and thought there would be no way to get in contact with family. The patient said Kyle overheard his situation and rolled them over to the phone.

Kyle then stayed by the patient’s side and held their hands while they talked and grieved with family.
