Annual Performance Review Process Starts June 8
CommonSpirit Health will launch its annual performance review process Tuesday, June 8, and there are some things you can do now to prepare for your review. The review process will be carried out in four stages: goals, self-review, manager review, and acknowledgement.
- Goals (now through June 7): Take time now to review your goals from last year and update them if needed. You can do this by going to Pathways, selecting “Performance” from the menu, then clicking “Goals.” Review your goals and talk with your leader about whether you need to update or adjust them to reflect your current focus. Make sure to update your goals by June 7; updates made after June 7 will not appear in this year’s review process.
- Self-review (June 8–26): The first formal step of the review process is your own reflection on how you’ve grown and performed during the fiscal year. Take some time to think about your accomplishments and any challenges you’ve overcome. Think about how your skills have developed and what contributions you’re proud of. Once the review portal opens June 8, you’ll be able to capture your progress and performance for your review.
- Manager review (June 29–Aug. 21): During this time, managers will complete their reviews for their direct reports and hold 1-on-1 conversations to discuss the major points of the review. This is a great time for you and your manager to get on the same page about expectations that will drive your work for the next year. Managers will submit their reviews after meeting with team members.
- Acknowledgement (Aug. 24–Sept. 4) – Team members will confirm they have seen the completed review.
