North RN Honored With DAISY Award for Thorough Care

Congratulations to Tamarious Thomas, RN, at North on receiving the DAISY Award! This award is given to extraordinary nurses all over the country who go above and beyond for their patients. Tamarious was honored after a patient nominated her, gushing over her excellent care and compassionate bedside presence. Here’s what the patient had to say:

“Tamarious cared for me with a level of skill and warmth that stood out from the moment she walked in. She explained everything clearly, answered every question without rushing me and stayed on top of my care so nothing fell through the cracks. Tamarious checked on me even when she was busy and always treated me with respect and dignity; not just a room number and a task. She worked well with her team and set a standard and tone well worth following. Her compassion and kindness shouldered my fear and for that I am truly grateful.
