St. Vincent Legal Name Change to CommonSpirit Arkansas

CommonSpirit Health is committed to building a stronger, more unified ministry. The Governance Alignment project (Project), a Board and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) approved initiative, serves to support this commitment by streamlining our legal entities and clarifying the structure and responsibilities of our local boards.

With completion of the initial governance design changes, the Project is now advancing to work focused on streamlining our legal entities. For Arkansas, you will see the following change. 

• St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center will undergo a legal name change to CommonSpirit Arkansas and team members’ paychecks  will reflect this name beginning Sept. 18, 2026. 

We do not anticipate any changes to pay, benefits, PTO accruals, or current location assignments as a result of this Project. Likewise, the public-facing names of our hospitals and care sites are not changing as a result of this Project.
