Elizabeth Black was recognized as a Service Hero in Morrilton for displaying the value of COMPASSION.
Elizabeth, a nurse practitioner, joined the Rural Health Clinic in Morrilton a little over a month ago. While caring for a patient, she recommended they purchase a blood pressure cuff to start monitoring their blood pressure at home.
The patient said they lived off a very tight budget and couldn’t afford to purchase a cuff, so Elizabeth went to the pharmacy and purchased one for the patient.
“I am so excited to have a new practitioner in our clinic who shows such care and humankindness to our patients!”
