Farewell and Thank You Reception for Brenda Baird

Leaders, physicians, nurses and co-workers from across the health system attended the farewell reception for Brenda Baird held March 29 at Infirmary.  She was thanked for her more than eight years of service and her contributions that led to ANCC Magnet status at Infirmary – the first and only ANCC Magnet recognized hospital in Arkansas.

Brenda also led the journey at CHI St. Vincent Morrilton in becoming designated as the first and only ANCC recognized Pathway hospital in Arkansas in 2013.

In addition her accomplishments also include representing CHI St. Vincent in multiple national publications and conference presentations, serving as CHI St. Vincent Executive sponsor of the Cerner build and implementation, leader of the CareValue implementation and leading the formation of CHI St. Vincent Simulation Lab with a Blue and You donation in 2012. She also worked with the Vogel Family on Nursing Excellence scholarships for bedside nurses

Brenda will serve as Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at the Northeast Georgia Health System. See photos of the reception at this link.
