Gabby Ray Wins DAISY Award

Congratulations Elizabeth “Gabby” Ray for being named an Infirmary DAISY Award winner for January!

Gabby is a RN in the ICU and was nominated by a patient’s family member.

The family member’s mother-in-law was transferred to the Infirmary and they were forced to make some life-altering decisions. They said Gabby took her time, explained the entire process and what to possibly expect.

Gabby never rushed the family, answered all of their questions and made sure the patient was comfortable. She even stayed past her shift to ensure proper care.

The family said Gabby went above and beyond. She printed out EKG strips and finger prints for the family to have.
