Hot Springs Security Coworker Named Service Hero
Congratulations are in order for Kyle Hodges, Security at Hot Springs, on receiving the CHI St. Vincent Service Hero Award! Kyle’s is receiving this honor for his compassionate leadership in helping a patient get the treatment they needed. Here’s his nomination:
“My sister brought my dad to the hospital because my dad’s blood pressure was really low. When we got there, he did not want to check in, but Kyle came out to check on us. He took the time to talk to my dad and explain to him that he needed to get checked out by the doctors so he did not have to come back in an ambulance from Mena. After listening to him, my dad asked him what he needed to do, and Kyle suggested he get in the wheelchair and get checked out. They admitted my dad to the ICU where he is receiving excellent care. My family is so thankful for the time Kyle took to come outside and talk to an 82-year-old man so he would check in and still be here for his family. We are thankful for the extra time Kyle took and believe that he showed all core values of what CHI stands for. Thank you Kyle for going the extra mile.”
Congratulations, Kyle, on this well-deserved recognition! Your compassionate and gentle approach helped a patient get the treatment he needed and provided some much-needed relief for his family.
