Hot Springs Social Worker Gains Board Certification

Robbie Ward completed the requirements for Board Certification in Case Management.  She has been a social worker at Hot Springs for 15 years. She said her favorite part of her job is the true joy she receives when a patient or family thanks her for helping them. She got into social work because,

“It allows me to truly help others in their time of need. Through my own story with my personal experiences with ill loved ones I realized that I could be the assistance and possibly the difference in helping someone in a critical time with options, care, information, and a listening ear.”

CCM is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies, and is the only comprehensive, cross-setting, cross-discipline case manager credential. Case managers have an important role throughout the continuum of care in advancing evidence-based practice, working in teams to improve patient outcomes and helping patients achieve health and wellness goals.
