Legacy Email Addresses Will Be Deactivated Jan. 5
On Jan. 5, 2026, legacy email addresses will no longer receive messages. If you haven’t yet reviewed your contacts and account logins, please do so as soon as possible—and no later than Jan. 5. This will help you avoid missed messages, workflow disruptions, or delays in communications.
You will now see a warning banner at the top of emails sent to your legacy address. Please reach out to the sender using this sample message. Note that you may still receive some internal system emails, such as from EmployeeCentral, until all systems are fully updated on Jan. 5, 2026.
What You Need To Do Now
- Update your contacts to ensure they are using your @commonspirit.org address.
- Notify your contacts and ask them to update their records. (Sample message available)
- Update your email signature to show your @commonspirit.org address. (See template)
- Update all logins and user IDs that use your legacy email addresses. Any legacy email used for password resets, newsletters, or system logins must be updated to avoid access issues.
Please view these Frequently Asked Questions for more assistance.
In addition, please know that Personify Health (MyWellness) is not able to automatically update email addresses for employees who use their legacy emails for their account. An announcement has been added to the MyWellness site with instructions on how to update your email address.
If you don’t take action by Jan 5, you will still be able to log in but you will stop receiving emails, including general MyWellness emails (including the launch email), password resets, and when the program relaunches, gift card emails. We will be relaunching the MyWellness program in late January for the new year, so watch for an email after the first of the year.
