Infirmary Nurse Completes CMSRN National Certification

A special congratulations to Feleshia Wilson, 4NW at the Infirmary, on completing her Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) certification! Feleshia is the latest clinical education student at the Infirmary to “conquer her mountain” and achieve a national certification.

The CMSRN certification from the Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board is open to med-surg nurses who have worked at least 2,000 practice hours over the past three years. The certification is a 90-day test period, culminating in a 150-question exam that applicants must complete with a passing score of 95. As of 2024, there were only 30,000 CMSRN-certified nurses in the world. Congratulations, Feleshia!
