Infirmary President’s Award Winners Recognized

This year Infirmary President Dr. Jones initiated a new award to recognize those who best represent humankindness in their daily work. A clinical individual, a non-clinical individual and a department will be awarded the President’s Award each year for going above and beyond the expected to deliver outstanding, empathetic care and concern for patients, families and other coworkers.

Those recognized with the inaugural President’s Awards are:

2024 Clinical Winner:
Kayla Clements, CVSD
“Kayla’s bright attitude is evident every day as she literally looks after everyone in her sphere of care,” noted Dr. Jones.

2024 Nonclinical Winner:
Mandy Davis, Mission
Dr. Jones said, “Mandy knows no limits in her dedication of service to others, especially those who fall squarely in our Mission Statement, “the poor and vulnerable.””

2024 Department Winner:
Outpatient Infusion
Dr. Jones noted that this group was tasked with moving a large group of infusion patients with serious illnesses from LRDC to SVI. “They left no stone unturned to make all of their patients as comfortable as possible and their service as convenient as possible.”
