Heart Clinic Arkansas Billing Department Spreads Holiday Cheer
This year, instead of a usual staff gift exchange, the St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas billing department chose to spread holiday cheer to the Good Shepherd Nursing Home and Rehab. Tonuia Nelson (Denials Management Specialist Lead) and Corebia Johnson (Denials Management Specialist) spearheaded the effort, coordinating with the facility to collect gifts for all 98 residents. Each resident will receive a blanket, socks, coloring supplies, a puzzle or coloring book, and candy. They also collected group items like knitting needles, yarn, reading glasses, playing cards, and magazines. The nursing home was thrilled with their generosity!
“Because we are all so blessed, we felt that this is what we were called to do. Anyone that has had any experience with a nursing facility knows that any item is appreciated, just to know that they are thought about during this time of year when so many are so sad and lonely. It’s a wonderful feeling to know we’ve brightened the holiday season for so many. Many thanks to St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas billing staff as well as others who contributed to this wonderful cause,” said Terri Jensen, Heart Clinic Billing Manager.
