HealthSouth Corporation and CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs recently began operations of CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of HealthSouth.  The 27-bed unit is currently operating on the campus of CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs.

The joint venture partners expect to relocate the inpatient rehabilitation unit to a newly renovated 40-bed hospital, located on the South Campus at the former site of HealthPark Hospital, in the third quarter of 2016. The new state-of-the-art hospital will provide comprehensive, inpatient physical rehabilitation to patients who have experienced stroke, trauma, brain injury, complex orthopedic conditions as well as other major illnesses or injuries.

This hospital provides residents of Hot Springs and the surrounding areas with continued access to high-quality physical rehabilitative care distinguished by intensive, individualized therapy and advanced technologies,” said Frank Brown, president of the southwest region for HealthSouth. “The dedication and tireless efforts of CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs, HealthSouth and our employees ensure a seamless transition for our patients with no interruptions to patient care.”

CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of HealthSouth will join HealthSouth’s network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and is the fifth hospital in Arkansas joining St. Vincent Rehabilitation Hospital in Sherwood; HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Jonesboro, a joint venture with St. Bernards Healthcare; HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Fayetteville, a joint venture with Washington Regional; and HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Smith.
