Kiley Pennington Recognized as Service Hero at Infirmary

Kiley Pennington was recognized as a Service Hero at the Infirmary for displaying the value of EXCELLENCE.

Kiley was nominated by the son of a patient, who applauded her willingness to accommodate any request and her ability to interpret and translate medical names and procedures into layman’s terms.

“She read a summary text of what the doctor had said without attempting to convince me that the situation was not as bad as the outcome would be.

“She just listened and offered to help any way she could. She gave suggestions on how to find the specialist we needed. She explained medical terms and could actually spell them! Really a fine, fine nurse and you should be proud to have her as an employee.”
