Liz Dergo Receives Service Hero Award at Infirmary

Congratulations to Liz Dergo, from Pharmacy, for being recognized as a Service Hero at the Infirmary. Read a snip from her nomination below:

“Liz is new to the organization. Her first day was 1.3.17– yet when I observed her work today in the Emergency Department, I was beyond impressed with her customer service and commitment to excellence for our facility. I watched her respond to multiple call lights to help the nurses and patient care techs who were VERY busy on a day when ICU and Med Surg beds were at capacity–six patients were being helped in the ED. Liz got a pillow for a patient, directed and facilitated with nurses to answer questions, and really showed compassion both to our patients as well as our nurses. It thrills me to see new employees pitching in for the cause.”
