North RN Honored with DAISY Award

Congratulations go to Mackenzie Hebert, RN at North, on being recognized with a DAISY Award! Mackenzie is a fantastic nurse who was honored after a patient’s wife was impressed with the compassionate way she helped both the patient and the family. Here’s her nomination:

“My husband was admitted for severe back pain and having surgery. When I say severe pain, he was thrashing, crying and screaming in pain. Mackenzie has been the most compassionate nurse we have ever had! In these moments, it is truly scary watching someone you love hurt like this. Mackenzie jumped in to do everything and anything to get him comfortable and out of pain while keeping her composure. Honestly the whole team has been super sweet and helpful but Mackenzie was simply amazing to not only my husband but this very scared wife. I have never seen a human in that much pain as I witnessed with my husband and I would want this nurse as not only our nurse but everyone needs a nurse like her.”
