Okoli is June’s Shining S.T.A.R.

Patient Care Tech Lucy Okoli  has been named the winner of the June Shining  S.T.A.R. Award at CHI St. Vincent.

The award is presented to a non-licensed nursing care team member who goes above and beyond the call of duty and is the kind of person that our patients, their families and our staff recognize as an outstanding role model.

The award was presented at the Patient Care Governing Congress. Here’s an excerpt from her nomination letter, written by a patient:

“She has excellent skills, is friendly and outgoing and displays professionalism at all times.”
