Pets of St. Vincent – Poppy and Wrigley

Our Pets of St. Vincent this week are a pair of feline friends that feature in our 2026 monthly calendar. This is Poppy and Wrigley, owned by Caroline Morton, PA-C, at the Infirmary!

Four-year-old Poppy and six-year-old Wrigley have been BFFs since the day they met. Caroline says the two rescue cats are the best pets ever! While they both love to eat, play and nap, they also have distinct little personalities. Poppy is an absolute sweetheart and is very smart, playing fetch with her toys and even leaving them in her owner’s shoes. Poppy also tucks Caroline in every night. Wrigley is little more mischievous at times, but also very sweet and outgoing! He likes to play hide-and-seek in the curtains and bring his favorite stuffed animals from his toybox for his owners to play with. Their favorite activity to do together is watch birds at the bird feeder, aka “Cat TV.”
