Pets of St. Vincent – Taco

For this week’s Pet of St. Vincent, we’re going with an adorable rescue dog with a big personality. This is Taco, owned by John Atha, RN, at North!

John tells us that Taco is a 1-year-old rescue from the Little Rock Animal Village who has been with his family for about nine months. During that time, Taco has settled right in with the family, including the bigger dogs who belong to John’s daughter. The other dogs are bigger and more aggressive, but Taco is too fast and too agile for them to catch up. When he isn’t outracing his dog siblings, Taco likes to chew. And chew and chew. John says he recently had to take away half a potato that Taco had stolen from the pantry. John says he’s getting closer to retirement, and Taco has proven to be the perfect companion for him.

We love a good rescue dog story! Don’t forget, we want to hear your pet’s story, too! To nominate your companion to be a Pet of St. Vincent, click this link and fill out the form to tell us about them. Don’t forget to include up to five high-quality photos so we can share them!
