Hot Springs RN Honored with Service Hero Award

Congratulations are in order for Shailynn Parker, RN in the Stepdown Unit at Hot Springs, on being named a CHI St. Vincent Service Hero Award! Shailynn was recognized for her extraordinary compassion, empathy, and positive outlook that significantly impacted a patient’s recovery. Here’s her nomination:

“This person was so helpful with everything we needed – from more water, and needed bedding for my daughter, to bloodwork concerns and walking the floor for exercise to heal. She listened and tried to meet my every need. We’ve had a lot of great nurses at CHI, and she even stands above them in our mind. She had a positive outlook and always had a smile on her face. This helped me get better almost as much as the medications. Shai is compassionate, empathetic, energetic, positive, and overall extraordinary.”

Thank you, Shailynn, for your compassionate care and consistently positive demeanor. It truly makes a difference in the lives of our patients. We encourage everyone to nominate a deserving coworker for a Service Hero award. If you know someone who goes above and beyond, click here to nominate them and tell us why they stand out!
