Morrilton Security Guard Recognized for Patient Assistance
Congratulations to Daniel Langdon, security guard at Morrilton, on being recognized as a CHI St. Vincent Service Hero! Our security professionals don’t usually have to help patients, but when the need arose, Daniel stepped up and delivered! Here’s his nomination:
“I would like to nominate Daniel for a service hero award in recognition for outstanding support, compassion and professionalism he demonstrated while assisting with an elderly, confused patient. He responded promptly and approached the situation with patience, kindness and empathy. Not only does he provide security, he takes the time to help comfort and reassure the patient. He is such a asset to our team and so helpful, especially when there are only 2 nurses working and multiple patients to care for. He is always willing to go above and beyond, treating patients with respect and understanding during vulnerable times. His teamwork, professionalism and genuine concern for the well-being of others makes a meaningful difference for both patients and our staff. We are grateful for his dedication and the positive impact he has on on our patients and team. He is truly deserving of this recognition.”
Thank you, Daniel, not only for keeping our Morrilton campus safe and secure, but also for having a heart for our patients. We appreciate everything you do for us!
Don’t forget, if you know of a team member who has gone above and beyond for a patient or a coworker, you can nominate them to be a CHI St. Vincent Service Hero! Just click this link and fill out the form.
