Special Delivery Leads to Service Hero Award for Morrilton RN

We’re proud to share that Wendy Morris, RN, at Morrilton has been named a CHI St. Vincent Service Hero! Wendy was recognized for setting up an extra special delivery during her off day for the family member of a patient who was staying at the hospital. Here’s what the nomination had to say:

“Wendy was off one day and seen a patients wife had posted on Facebook about how cold she was in the hospital with her husband. Before you knew it, there was a Walmart delivery to that patient’s room, Wendy had ordered a heated blanket for the family member and had it delivered to them. Thank you, Wendy, for your kindness and caring for your patients even when you are not on shift. Your compassion and caring and living out our core values does not go unnoticed.”

Wendy, this was an amazing gesture of humankindness for a guest in need. Thank you so much for all you do for our patients and their families!
