Spencer Burris Recognized as Hot Springs Service Hero

Spencer Burris, RN, a patient care coordinator in Hot Springs, was recognized as a Service Hero for displaying the value of COMPASSION.

A patient was recovering from a recent stroke when he began having complications and was moved to ICU.

After the patient was moved, his wife had to go back to their home in Hot Springs Village but was nervous about walking out to her car at 1am.

Spencer got a cart for the patient’s wife, loaded her bags on the cart, then walked her to her car and loaded the bags in the car.

“He made sure I was safe before he left. He’ll never know how much that meant to a woman who was worried about her spouse and terrified to go to her car in the middle of the night alone.”
