UCA Sorority Helps Feed CHI St. Vincent Coworkers

In November, the Clinical Education Department at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary learned there were multiple coworkers that were dealing with financial hardships.

The department teamed up with the Emergency Department and Leadership to collect non-perishable food.

University of Central Arkansas Nursing Leadership students were in clinical at the Infirmary the day the food was gathered. The students helped pack the food into boxes for coworkers to pick up.

In December, one of those students, Sydney Ganis, reached out to the Clinical Education Department about even more donations that had been collected. Sydney’s sorority, Delta Zeta, held their own food drive to donate to the hospital.

Thanks to the ladies of DZ, even more coworkers can receive food and support!

“We are so thankful for the UCA Delta Zeta sorority and their spirit of giving!”
