We Are Now One Ministry: CommonSpirit Health Launches

We are now one ministry: CommonSpirit Health.

Your commitment and dedication to our patients, residents, communities and one another have brought us here today. CommonSpirit Health is committed to building healthier communities, advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable and providing innovations within our care sites and the communities we are privileged to serve. Spanning 21 states and representing communities of all sizes, we now have the resources, expertise and influence to change our country’s health care landscape.

Building on the legacy that our founding women religious entrusted to us, we will boldly innovate, faithfully serve and passionately advocate for the voiceless and those in need. Together, we are better able to:

  • Build healthier communities wherever we are
  • Transform health care access and delivery
  • Personalize care for those with acute and chronic conditions
  • Create an inspired culture of excellence for our coworkers and physicians
  • Advance our sacred calling to serve all

Today also marks the unveiling of CommonSpirit Health’s new logo and visual identity. Months in development, the logo is modern, warm and distinctive. Its design reflects our faith-based heritage of being open and inviting–to feel inclusive to all.

Of course, coming together on paper is just the beginning. Creating a unified health system for the future will take time, teamwork, an openness to change and patience.

In the near term, most ways of doing our work will remain unchanged. But changes can be expected as we come together, and it may not always be easy. We will always be guided by what is right, and by the mission and values that are being created for our new ministry. As important decisions are made, we promise to share information with you as quickly and openly as we can.
