When the Recliner is Not Your Friend – The Dewey Sutton Real Men Wear Gowns Story

That’s Dewey Sutton in the photo with his prized possession – his camper.  While it gives him lots of freedom, it’s what he has inside that creates a challenge for him to keep his diabetes in check.  He has lots of family support to keep him healthy, a lifestyle that allows him time for leisure and exercise and a doctor who keeps up with his health. At a recent visit, with Dr. Bushra Shah at the CHI St. Vincent Longevity Center, Dewey made a confession which led to a promise that he would make some changes in his diabetes management. Here’s Dewey’s story.
