Jackie Arnold named Director of Nursing Excellence and Clinical Education

Please help us welcome Jackie Arnold to the CHI St. Vincent team as the Director of Nursing Excellence and Clinical Education. Jackie has over 15 years of experience in healthcare education including nine years as a Nursing Education Specialist at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. She has expertise in developing strategy and infrastructure as well as faculty developmjackieent, team training, facilitation and conflict management.

Prior to joining CHI St. Vincent, Jackie was the Senior Director of the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi Multidisciplinary Simulation Center. Before moving abroad, she worked at Mayo Clinic for 24 years in a variety of roles. Her clinical expertise was in cardiac surgery critical care with a focus on pediatric and adult congenital heart defects.

In 2005 she was part of the startup team to operationalize the Mayo Clinic Multidisciplinary Simulation Center (MCMSC). Jackie has designed and implemented education for nurses, medical students, residents, and other allied health staff. She has conducted research that resulted in publications, and presented to regional, national and international audiences.
