Ashley Tate Earns National Top Gun Award

Ashley Tate, unit director of patient transport, concierge and valet services at the Infirmary, received the national Top Gun Award during a recent patient transport conference in Orlando, Fla.

The award, voted on by Compass Group’s senior leadership, is given to one Patient Transport Director each year based on their account performance, customer relations, employee engagement and leadership.

Tate has been in her current role for 3 1/2 years and with Crothall Health Care, a subsidiary of Compass Group, since 2008.

“I owe this to the managers I’ve had that have supported me and my mentor who has taught me everything I know,” Ashley said. “It’s not something I earned on my own. It’s the transporters that work here and are doing the work. That’s truly who this has been earned for.”
