Cheyenne Walker Awarded Service Hero for Kindness and Compassion

Cheyenne Walker, an RN from Hot Springs, was awarded a Service Hero for his kindness and compassion. Cheyenne, who works in 2 East, had multiple patients who were confused and restless. These patients were yelling, very agitated and were attempting to crawl out of their hospital beds.

Cheyenne spent time sitting with these patients and showed attentiveness and compassion. As a result, they felt listened to, respected and cared for. Their anxiety and restlessness were decreased and their high-risk behavior of climbing out of the bed was stopped.
